I've received exciting news from District 4 member Sarah Willard, who teaches at Whiteman Elementary in Knob Noster.  She said that her principal read Daniel Pink's book, A Whole New Mind, over the summer, and became excited about it.  Now, the principal has selected it for the teachers to read, and has asked Sarah to do a presentation to the staff regarding the importance of the arts.  What a great advocacy tool!

If you haven't read the book, I encourage you to do so, then pass it on to your administrators!
